School

St. Cloud Christian School offers a rigorous K-12  College Preparatory Program. The foundation was first laid in 1979, when four families following the Lord’s leading established a Christian school in the community. The school, then known as “King’s Academy of St. Cloud”, opened its doors that first day with seven students and two faithful teachers. As a K-8 institution, the school’s enrollment grew throughout the next decade and eventually changed its name to “St. Cloud Christian School”. In 1999, the Board of Directors decided to add a high school and provide a complete K-12 education for our families. SCCS proved itself as a quality educational program and was accredited by the “Association of Christian Schools International” and the “North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement” in 2001. After growing into multiple campuses, the school was blessed to be able to purchase a retired school building in the area in 2003. Since then, the school has grown and now enrolls over 200 students from 16 different communities and more than 25 churches. Our graduates have gone on to attend prestigious universities, medical school, and many have also become teachers. Throughout all the changes, we must acknowledge the unwavering blessings of God and His great faithfulness to our school.
